PM Task list creation and Plan

Dear Friends,

I would like to know the best practice followed while creating task list and PM plan.

Scenario 1.

I have a Preventive maintenance done by Mech,Elect,INST maintenance departments in the same frequency.Operations and workcenters are different according to the departments.

Whether one order should be created with 3 department operations or 3 PM orders should be created for different disciplines.

Also i would like to see department wise maintenance expenses - work center wise.
