Unable to Delete Profit Center

Dear All

When I am deleting a profit center I am getting the following message:

A profit center scenario is active in new General Ledger Accounting

Message no. FAGL_LEDGER_CUST155

Please advice..

Hi

You have profit center update scenario configured in the ledger, is the reason for the error. Then you may also have segment scenario assigned which is assigned to the profit center master record. When PCA scenario is active you cannot delete PC normal way

Go to t code 0KE2 and delete but please do it with caution. remove the ?Execute Checks? check mark before you execute. First execute with test run checked first.

Hi,

As per the error message, it seems profit center is added in scenario in new GL accounting. Please check the same in the following path: SPRO - financial accounting new - financial accounting global settings New - ledger - define scenarios for ledger.

Please check for leading ledger and if it is assigned, then you cannot delete the profit center. Please check sap notes before removing profit center scenario from scenarios and accordingly decide.
