Hi,
I have created a data hub instance in sap cloud appliance library. Instance is up and active.
But when i tried to connect using the master password set for the first time. It is showing invalid credentials.
Any way to get the credential issue resolved?
Hi Titto,
The same master password is set to user Administrator for the RDP connection. Does this connection work for you?
If not, then the entered password does not match to the password provided during the instance creation. We do not keep your password in SAP CAL so the solution would be to re-create the instance.

Hi Titto,
We have not stored your password after it was applied to the system so we can't confirm if it is the same. Also we do not manage your system and do not have a super user that could reset the password. The only option in SAP CAL is to create a new instance.
In theory it should be possible to reset the OS password via the cloud provider console. However this would require much more effort than re-creating the instance and would not reset the SAP system password.

Hi Titto,
in addition to Stanimir's answer: there was a small error in the "Getting Started Guide". The user for the default tenant is datahub.
The user for the system tenant is system. The error in the "Getting Started Guide" has been corrected by now.
Cheers

I have used the default tenant with datahub user but it is not recognizing the Master password set. I'm not seeing the step 5 in the getting started guide in the active instance. Is that something that i missing? Attaching the page from getting started guide that is missing in my active instance
My active instance is only having these tabs in it
Hi Titto,
Most probably the root cause of the problem is an OS update + policy that were applied on your local machine but were not applied on the Windows image that SAP CAL provisioned in your GCP account. We have already updated the SAP CAL solution to use the newest Windows image available on GCP so the new instances should not come on this problem. We have tested with a RDP client that failed to connect to the older Windows image and succeeded with the newer one.

These are two different screens. There is no screen where you can change the solution password after initial creation of the solution instance.
Hard to say what is wrong with your system.
"Pragmatic" solution proposal: can you please delete the solution instance you have and create a new one with a new password and see if that works.
I have tested this week already and everything worked fine from my perspective.
Cheers
