Scheduling a Transaction code

Hi all,

I have a scenario where by a customized t-code is required to execute at certain intervals (used for reporting).

Can someone suggest the best way how to set scheduling either in SAP or windows environment.

What is requirement of scehduling the tcode , what activity tcode will do ?

As per my knowledge you can't schedule tcode , you can schedule report ot program using sm36.

Hi Mohammad Shoaib Ali,

I suggest you, create a custome program that performs the expected task using the transaction code that you want execute at regular intervals. Because there is NO way you can schedule to run a SAP based transaction at OS level scheduled task feature.

so take help from the developer, prepare custom program/report with transaction codes init and schedule this program/report to be executed using background workprocess at your prefered regular intervals.
