ADS call cant be completed

Hi,

I have integrated an Adobe Form with my Web Dynpro App.

But when i am testing the application, It is giving me a dump "ADS CALL CANT BE COMPLETED"

I went to FP_PDF_TEST_00 and it is displaying the Version Number of the ADS.

Adobe Lifecycle Designer is also installed on the system.

What should be the problem ?

Hi ,

Its prob with system configuration.

I too faced the same issue . i raised a CSS message for it.

The system got configured.

You can refer here the reply which i got after configuration.

I am using interactive form in my Web Dynpro Application.When I test the

application I am getting an error as " The ADS call has failed. You can

find information about the cause in the error.pdf on the application

server".Please find the same in attached screen shot.

Current development is on hold due to this issue.please do the needfull

ASAP.

Hi Colleagues,

Problem may be with the entry of destination service in visual admin of

IAD.

Visual Admin > Security Provider >Policy config >com.ADS.jar >Security

Roles >

Add ADSUSER, ADS_ILV and J2EE_ADMIN in User mapping field.

Please see the SAP note # 944221 for reference.

Same type of issue was solved in old CSS # 3276632 2009.

Hello ,

We have checked the FP_TEST_00 report and its working in other

DEV systems but in ILV its asking USR/PASSWORD.

Hello Colleagues,

ADS on IAD system is working ok.

We have checked the ADS in IXT and IFD system where ADS is configured

for IAD system.All tests are ok.

1. Test program FP_TEST_00

Its giving the PDF page in print preview

2. Test program FP_PDF_TEST_00, RFC connection to ADS

Giveing the verssion of the ADS

So its seems to be problem in ILV configuration.

Can you please check the ILV to ADS configuration.

The ADS RFC in ILV is working fine in ILV.

But when the report FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE is executed in Se38

ssytems requests for Username and Password.

Would you please assist here?

HI

The certificate was renew on the ILV tx STRUST and after this has to be

this new certificate in the IAD java part, so the ADS trust the ILV

I did that and now is working fine

This was the issue.Raise CSS for this.
