Dear all,

I am facing problem i.e. I have created new user id and giving authorization of t-code cv01n to cv04n and also assign object S_RFC,ACO_SUPER and document management object but same id i am using for login easy DMS system is not showing public folder

hi

which folders u r able to see after logon? also check the FM EASYDMS_SHOWROOTFOLDERS which is responsible for showing private / public root folders.

I am able to see private fiolder and search but unable to see public folader.

How to check 'EASYDMS_SHOWROOTFOLDERS"?

hi

in backend Se37 transaction check this FM and see the coding..this FM should check if public folder with name EDIPUBLICROOTFOLDER exists or not and based on that easyDMS shows in the frontend.

( you can also search for document EDIPUBLICROOTFOLDER in cv04n transaction)

If i am giving full authorization then i can able to see public folder in easy dms in my company with same id but i have give only cv01n to cv04n i cant see public folder in easy dms other are visible.

BUT

I have created new user id with different server (friend company) and giving only cv01n to cv04n authorization but through that id he can able to see public folder.

i do not know much about authorizations so cant tell exactly what is needed..but you can search the forum for similar issues..

however, one suggestion is that you can start easyDMS with ABAP debugged on and then put a breakpoint for the FM in backend and then check whether this FM is executed or not and what values it returns. this should help a little bit.
