Hi All,

Packing material quantity is not decreasing in the plant after packing and doing the PGI. Do we need any configuration settings for this.

Thanks in advance.

Can you check in delivery document for this packing item, any movement type is appearing or not?

( in std:621 mov type / Item cat: TAL).

Check in Delivery document - Packing tab- General data- select Handling Unit- Additional data (Check Item Category Exist or not)?

Can you provide the steps followed in this process ( incl: Config steps)

Additional info required,

- what is material type used for packing material?

- In LEIH , then Item Cat :TAL ( SchLine Cat- E2/E3-mov type:621)

- In VERP, then Item Cat: HUPM/DLN ( Sch line Cat:CN- mov type: 601_ )

in Tcode:VHAR- check Packing material type-Plant Determination (B) / Packing Material Cat(C) maintained.

Hi,

Check whether the item category group is LEIH, which is returnable packaging. If you use this then the inventory will not come down in the report MMBE.

If the material is returned then we have to create one more sale order (Doc type) LA for which we create goods receipt.

If the material is not returned, then create order LN and subsequently you do the billing. Only then the inventory will go down.

Regards,

Nithin.
