Hi,
What are the pre-requisites before stock taking? including the FI measures
Also
Costing of materials is not to be taken during stocking taking.- Am I right?

Before starting the stock taking all the movements for that material need to be blocked.
The blocking Includes costing and revaluation which ensures that no financial posting will happen for that material.
