Hi friends,
I have a material which shows opening stock when I look at MB5B for a date in the past.
I have looked at the same material in table MBEWH, and saw that the first period with a value is (in our company) period 12 2005, but in MB5B I can run this material for any date in the past, I've tried dates like 01.01.0010 and then I still get an opening and closing stock/value, which is the same amount for any date in the past, before the first actual posting.
Looking at MB51 I saw that the first actually material document for this material was posted in period 05 2007.
Any advice would be greatly appreciate in resolving this matter.

Hi Jurgen,
Thanx for replying so fast.
There is no detail button. After I've executed there is opening and closing stock but at the bottom of the report it says "List contains no data"
I've had a look at note 1265674 but it is not relevant for my situation. For one thing I've checked MB51for movements 141 & 142 as the note suggested, but found nothing.
