Opening balances issue

HI all,

My clients wants me to upload the OB of G/L and Stocks til date 31st-march-09,

but they are not getting uploaded.

can anyone suggest me what should be the posting period dates and which date i should define in dtw template.

also if possible please let me know what are the mandatory field in uploading OBs.

Hi

When you are posting opening balance (GL/Inventory) posting period will be the last day of previous financial period. If your trying to upload OB for the financial year of 09-10. Your OB date should be fallen in the previous financial period that is in 31.03.2009.

Mandatory fields like GL Account, Date, and Amount for GL. For Inventory GL account for Inventory account, item code, date, quantity, Item costu2026

All dates assigned 20093104 are wrong dates. They must be 20090331.

Hi Agranshu..........

You date format in DTW template should be YYYYMMDD. Then try.

Hi!

Posting Date Should be 01-April-09 and

Mandatory Fields are ItemCode, Quantity , Price and Offset Acc.
