Changing the SBO login picture

Hi All,

how could we change the picture of the sbo login .as the events starts after entering to b1 how could we manage it.

Hi Micheal,

is not necessary to develop an add-on to change the login logo.

It is relative simple but I think is not more convenient.

You can download a software like Resource Hacker.

Open with this software the B1_Resource.dll in the SAP Business One client installation directory.

Open the group "Bitmap" and then you can find the subgroups: "LOGIN_LOGO_SIDE" and "LOGIN_LOGO_SIDE_RTL". The first one contains the default image for the Left to Right Languages (eg.: English). The second one contains the default image for the Right to Left Languages (eg.: Hebrew, Arabic).

Export, edit and replace the bitmap.

You can export and replace the bitmap with Resource Hacker. Use any other software in order to edit the image.

I think is not convenient because you need to do the same things on all client installation. When you upgrade SAP Business One you lost your customization.

Hi can you name the subgroup in B1_Recourse.dll file for SAP9?

Hi,

There is a movie file named 'sapss' in your SAP Installed location (usually C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One). You can rename or delete the file to skip the movie loading process.

What picture are you talking about then?

Is it the background picture (all blue by default)?

Sorry but you can't change the welcome screen. Any addon will only be activate after user logs in to a particular company.
