Mass Merge of duplicate Individual Customers in SAP C4C

Hi SAP Community,

Is there a possible way to initiate a merge for thousands of Individual customers records automatically?

We have migrated records of customers as individual customer in SAP C4C from another system, but most of the records have no registered emails with it. Now some of these customers are sending emails to our configured email channels and now have tickets tagged to an account created by SAP C4C, as this customers have no registered email from the migrated records. We want to merge the system created individual customer account to the one we migrated from the other system. The manual merging of individual customers is not effective as we need to merge thousands of individual customer records together with their tickets.

Hello Nabil,

Currently, you can only mass merge two individual customer records by using the Initiate Merge functionality in the Individual Customer work center view.

Our Product Management monitors the requests posted here and adds them to the product backlog for upcoming releases of SAP Cloud for Customer, based on the feasibility and the customer demand for the functionality.

One possible workaround for your case would be to set the duplicate individual customer records as Obsolete by initiating a mass update through Data Workbench. Please note that in this case, the related items created for the duplicate customer would not be automatically copied to the master Individual Customer.
