Techanical name showing in Report output

Hello to All,

In my report I have taken Keyfigure No of Employee, While execuitng in report in output techanical name 1ROWCOUNT is coming,I want to display description.

kindly suggest.

As per my understanding you are using 1ROWCOUNT to get the Number of Employee count. For this

We can make a New Selection in column area and drag the 1ROWCOUNT and change the decription of the New Selection to Number of Employee.

Correct me if my understanding is wrong.

Sorry I have given description wrong that one is No of record , I have taken in colums,

Bur in report output techanical name is coming 1ROWCOUNT, I am using BI 7.0 Query designer.

and report is based on Infoset. Infoset is having ODS.

We can make a New Selection in column area and drag the 1ROWCOUNT and change the decription of the New Selection to Number of Records.

Hi,

Right-click the keyfigure in the Column,and then click the 'New Formula'. Change the description to 'No of Records' from formula1 and assign the keyfigure inside the formula and then hide the keyfigure 1ROWCOUNT in the column. Save and execute the query.

Hi Shalini,

Please check the description of the Keyfigure in the query designer .By default Query will show only the description of the keyfigures .1ROWCOUNT is automatically added when you ODS or InfoObjects for your reporting .If keyfigure is coming with technical name, Create a formula for this keyfigure with 'No of Employees' description and hide the keyfigure from the query designer.
