Price determination if UOM is different between Condition record and Sales units

Dear All,

We have a requirement where client wants to determine price with the combination of UOM maintained in VK13 and the sales unit maintained in Order item.

For example : Price in VK13 is maintained for Bag and the sales unit in the order is shown in Gallons. Now there is a formula to derive the price per unit, which is shown below :

Formula = (No of Bags consumed / No of gallons) * price of the bags on a pro-rata basis

Price of the bags on pro-rata basis means : If price for 1 bag is 500 INR and the actual consumed bags are 2, then the price of the bags on pro-rata basis is 1000 INR.

Kindly suggest how it can be implemented - My thought process is to write this formula in the pricing routine but will the price gets determined from VK13 if its in different UOM altogether?

Yes you need to add the logic in a pricing routine which can then be assigned to the pricing condition type in pricing procedure
