LANDSCAPE_FETCH-Job - SAP Solution Manager

Hi all,

I have the possibility to implement a Landscape-Fetch-Job for SAP Solution Manager via TA SMSY_SETUP and I received the hosts and databases in our solution manager which are actually connected to our solution manager.

This will read server data from all systems that are connected to solman via SLD.

I want to use this received datas later within the solution manager , e.g. Maintenance optimizer, Maintenance certificate, ... Is it sufficient or have I also additional configure the RFC's to this source systems via TA SMSY !?

Hi,

In lieu to maintenance certificates, the landscape fetch job helps a bit, however the main scenario in a nutshell

Solution manager steps:

- Activated Automatic License Data Distribution

- scheduled job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT

- Defined the system in transacton SMSY

- Defined RFC connections to the system

Satelite system:

- Set the system with a correct kernel

- activated the SDCCN.
