Hello Experts,

I have an ABAP System that I need to connect to a AEX PO system that is in the SAP HEC environment, when I try to create the RFC Destination in the SM59 transaction to connect to them it shows an ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_BROKEN when I try to test it.

We have double-checked that there is connectivity between both systems with a ping from SAP PO to the ABAP system and in the other direction through the OS01 transaction.

I followed the guide in this URL to create the HTTP Destinations

SMICM Logs can be found in icm-logs.txt

Does anyone have faced this kind of issue before?

    Hi Danilo,

    Have you tried a Telnet to the 50001 port of HEC PO?

    Remember you are trying to connect to a HOST:PORT url. maybe firewall has closed the outgoing communication from SAP to the 50001 port.

    Yes, telnet and ping tests run with no errors from the ABAP system to the port of HEC PO, I even run the RZ70 transaction succesfully to register the ABAP systems in the PO SLD.

    The problem is happening when I try to configure the RFC from ABAP System to connect to the HEC PO ESR and the AEX Engine.
