How can we avoid creating duplicate items?

Hello Everyone,

We are looking to create a pop up window upon item creation in the Item Master Data that will notify an employee if the manufactures number or Vendor Item number already exists.

It would simply state "This item already exists inside SAP, are you sure you wish to continue"
