Hi Friends,
I wanted to publish a module pool screen hrough ITSmobile.
when I am generating the template of the previously created module pool screen I am uable to find the Mobile Devices as the generation style. and also the standard ITS mobile services sap/bc/gui/sap/its/test/mobile/itsmobile00 and /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/test/mobile/itsmobile01 are not present.
I am creating the application using ECC 6 server.
Please suggest.
Regards
Nitesh.
Nitesh ,
Have you checked the itsmobileo00/itsmobile01 services at SICF ?
Please go to check service available / activate or not from below path
T.Code: SICF
default_host->sap->bc->gui->sap->its->
Kindly follow the blogs :

Hi Santosh,
The reply was usefull . But the main problem is that using ITS mobile we can control the UI of the application specific to the mobile device but a normal application published throught ITS will have a huge size and will consume lot of bandwith while opening on a mobile device.
I checked the services in the SICF transaction they are working fine . The main issue is that I am unable to find the mobile services in SICF.
Please suggest.
Regards
Nitesh

---> Very much right, But we have the option of creating out own HTML generators . Using java scripts/Css we can control the rendering of html on device as well as capturing the inputs from device . It is like web hosting only where we use mobile device just as a thin client .
Rest size will depend upon the application not on the publishing mode (as u said ITS) . so designing of application is a crucial thing here . Though its a proven technology for mobile applications . Just for your knowledge kindly go through the blog :

what do you mean by mobile services here ?
At SICF we create the service and associate it with an application .
for any mobile specific css/html/javascript browse through SE80. choose internet services as option and itsmobile00/01/02 as services . navigate through it you will get few services related to motorola/intermec etc..

Thanks a lot for ur reply santosh.Actually I was going through the link giving information about creating application with ITSMobile .
The link says that the standard transactions get rendered according to mobile when published through ITSmobile.
And In SE80 I selected the internet services but when I gave itsmobile00 I got the error that service does not exist.
Is there something wrong with the ECC 6 or the server need to be upgraded.
Regards
Nitesh

---> Very true but sap has provided the provision for same also. Like when you generate html out of application you can change the html code at se80 , can use a java script/css for making the html fit as per the device .
And In SE80 I selected the internet services but when I gave itsmobile00 I got the error that service does not exist.

> no i guess you missed something. Choose Internet Service in Se80 and write itsmobile00 and hit enter you will get service with two theme 98/99 .
