SAP Identity Managment Rest API v2: "null" in Error-Message

Hi Experts,

when our customer tries to assign a role to a user, that is already assigned to the user, the rest api throws following error: "Value for attribute Assigned roles cannot be set. Overlapping Assignment Validity for null (*Business Role*)" (Translated from German).

Is it possible to configure the error message that it shows the context of the business role instead "null"?

I hope somebody of you has an idea how to deal with this.

Hi Felix, I don't think that errors from the REST API can be changed. You'd probably be best off writing your own "wrapper" around the code that would intercept the error. I haven't done much with REST, so I really can't give much more assistance. I'd also reccomend logging this as an enhancement with SAP.
