Dear all,

sometimes a delay occurs (more or less 25 minutes) in the alignment of data from SAP Cloud foundry cockpit to SAP IoT Application Enablement of the same tenant. We have not this issue in previous days. Is there any new feature released we don’t know?

Data arrive from field in real time:

But in Iot A.E. I have data after more or less 25 minutes.

Please let me know if you have detected a similar issue and how to fix it.

Thank you.

Best Regards.

Luigi Alboino

Please check the jam at https://jam4.sapjam.com/groups/kcKhhbRCPL3PQft2XM1d6X/overview_page/QMCk9FNB1Ck9ymiqJjdtiN for any planned delay due to upgrades or other issues. If you do not have access please send an email to arnold.niedermaier at sap.com.

The "normal" delay for the data to show up in our services is a question of seconds. during a downtime the spark job might not be running, the data sits in kafka topics (up to 7 days) and will be picked up when the spark job runs again. so at no time data will be lost.

in the thing modeler the thing modeler triggers a pull every minute or so - so you will not see all values coming in if your frequency is higher then this and you will see the value as quickly as it might be stored.
