User Exit is not working for all users id.

Hi Experts,

Our abapers have created Exits for ML81N. User exit(CMOD) is triggered for only for developer login , it is not triggered for any other login including admin login also.

can U suggest me where the authorization fails, or i have to give developer rights to all others users.

Just to check pls provide additionaly S_develop object to user and try the activity.

Once your activity completed, pls remove the above object.

I have created the same secnario any my end , i have created User exists for ML81N.

I assign jsut ML81N authorization to me and tried the ML81N.

my all functionality of user work properly.

I tried with the object S_DEVELOP with full authorization for all the object. But still user exit is not triggering.

k fine ...

shall i make another Tp with all the supportive object included and again transport it for testing.

i think it may rectify the issue, since at your end it is not similar. so it will work out.

Can you lets us know how you are trigerring user exists with developer id i.e are scehdule any background job ????

What process you are using to triger user exists.

MBCF0002 user exits used here, it is developed to capturing service purchase requisition text to appear in accounting document text.

when service entry sheet is saved it has to be triggered ( where material document no and corresponding accounting document no is created during service sheet is saved ).

it successfully happens for developer user. but for other users it is not triggering and text is not captured.

Light Green mean authorization object is missing.

Can you give the neccesary authorization object to users which is showing in ST01 , just try it for users other than developer .

as ealrier you said developer are able to trigger the user exits.

Carry on the activity until all the authorization object does'nt show in dark green color.

I have made a complete trace for the testuser by authorizing from beginning and traced out the log. Now everything is fine (dark green).

But still user exit is not triggered.

Can you confirm in logs of authorization trace there is object which shows in light green colour.

COLOUR LEGEND :-

Dark green :- mean auhtorization check was succesful.

Light Green :- mean authorization object is missing

Pls confirm all the authorization object is showing in dark green color.

i checked for both the users , for both users the trace list is in light green completely.

it is not like authorization missing.

Hi Arjun,

Actiivate the authorization trace ST01 and carry on the activity without deveolper authorization , you will get which neccesary authorization object is required.

Through st01 trace is made and all the auth object is verified . all are same with the same activity and with auth name.

any other suggesstion...
