Seperate Consolidation

Hi There,

I am an IT support for the BPC system. We use the BPC 10 NW to support legal consolidation. Currently, the BPC system produces Yuan consolidation and will prepare the USD consolidation. So that the BPC system will perform multiple currencies consolidation.

I have read a number of the BPC thread for the multiple currencies consolidation. However, I do not find out as our needs. Our requirement is to users perform the Yuan consolidation then the USD consolidation.

I put two currency IDs (Yuan, USD) on the field Group_Currency (Group dimension). The BPC system runs currency translation & consolidation for Yuan & USD concurrently. This was not matched with our requirement.

Do you know how to perform the Yuan consolidation for the first round then the USD consolidation?

What should I do to the BPC customised to support the above requirement?

Hi Vadim,

Users prepare data in their local currency. Then, the BPC system only produces the Yuan consolidated result. Once holding user accomplish to verify the consolidated data on Yuan currency, the BPC system proceeds to the USD consolidation without changing the consolidated Yuan result.

I want to assure the BPC system does not change the Yuan consolidated data since our user has verified it.

unfortunately, I put two (2) currencies (Yuan, USD) on the field Group_Currency, then the BPC system performs two consolidations concurrently.

I thought the BPC system filters data on Yuan & USD during the consolidated calculation.

Hi Vadim,

I need the BPC system separately produces the Yuan & USD consolidation. It means users prepare their data in local currency and post any adjustment in a Yuan currency. Then, the BPC system produces the Yuan consolidation result. Afterwards, the holding user verifies the Yuan consolidation result. Once they accomplish it, they continue to the USD consolidation activity. They hope the BPC system will only produce the USD consolidation without changing the Yuan consolidation result since they have verified it before.
