Hello,
I am using SAP Crystal Reports 2016.
Usually I am using English language but in one report I need to use Czech language and it's special characters - especially: "ě, š, č, ř, ž"
CR is installed in Czech Language and database accepts those characters. But CR is instead of Příručka kvality displaying: Pøíruèka kvality.
But when I create Formula field that says:
Chr(0216) - it easily displays character Ř (from ASCII).
What can I do for my CR to display czech characters from DB correctly?
Thank you
Don, I upgraded to SP 6.
But it still doesn't work. If i type "Příručka kvality" into text box it shows correctly. But if I take it from database it is still wrong.
Thank you,
Lukas

Upgrade to SP 4 or above and see if that works for you.
SP 4 now uses version 1.6 of usp10.dll which MS fixed so it shows correct font glyph's.
If you paste Příručka kvality into a text box does it show correctly?

Ian, thank you for your advice. Unfortunately it did not work. I think that font is not the cause.

We had a similar problem with Polish Characters. When we switched to DejaVu Sans all characters showed correctly.
