Hi experts,
If the customer specific price for one product is set up at $1,000 USD between 2018/1/1/-2019/12/31, however, there is another price $ 990 USD for Halloween campaign between 2018/10/15-11/15, and another price $880 USD for Christmas campaign between 2018/11/1-12/25. The lowest price should be selected if the campaign days are overlapped.
How do we handle this situation with SAP ByDesign? I've tried distribution chain price but its priority is not as high as customer specific price. Or should i use campaign specific price? and how? Please help, thank you!
Best,
Michelle
Hi Michelle,
To handle this situation you can use Discount List.
1. Create Customer Specific Price List for a product as $1,000 USD for dates between 01-Jan-2018 to 31-Dec-2018.
2. For Christmas campaign, create a Discount List of 12% for the same product & Customer for dates between 01-Nov-2018 to 25-Dec-2018.
Using the Discount List, you can easily manage desired price list for your campaign days as:
1000 $ - 12%(1000 $) = 880 $

Hi Michelle,
Yes, it is possible to setup different discounts for different products for the same customer. You can use Discount Lists:- Customer Specific Discount Products for this.
Go to Product and Service Portfolio WoC --> Pricing view --> select Discount Lists sub view --> select Customer Specific Discount Products
Mark the answer correct if you are satisfied with the solution.

Hi Michelle,
Both Discount List & Customer Specific Price list will work together as you can see iin the below screen shot.
I selected the Product: Laptop here and system automatically picked up the List Price & Discount from the masters.
This is the best solution for your case.

Hi Anant,
Got it and thank you. However, not all the products' prices are 10% off for my client. Is it possible to do different discounts for different products for the same customer?
I also heard of pricing with extension fields but still trying to figure it out. Do you have any idea how it works?
Thank you!
