hi experts,
Can any one help me in the following,
during result recording(single recording), after entering the results the system itself valuate and put the mean value for results. Based on this value system accept the characteristics. How the system calculate the value, from where it get the formula. But in this sample size out of 5, 3 samples are not within the limits. I want the system to calculate the lower and upper limit value for accepting the character.

Hi,
The result valuation rule comes from valuation mode of your sampling procedure. Use valuation mode " value within tolerance range" or as per your requirement.

hi dinesh,
In result recording the sample size is 5 and Sampling type is Fixed , Valuation mode mean value with tolerance range. when i enter the 5 values and click the valuate button system itself put the mean vale. But i need the system to consider the Higher and Lower value and enter the mean of two values.

Yes Muthamil,
Got your requirement. For this you need to create a calculated characteristics. By using an opt formulae, you can acheive this. There are predefined formula parameters. Am not in front of system. So from memory am saying your formula would be (B9.....+BA.....)/2. But am not sure. Please cross check.
Hi
Check the sampling procedure
What is the Valuation mode you have selected?
depending upon the valuation mode system draws the acceptence or rejection.like of you have selected mode as"Mean value & tolerence ragne " system will do valuation on mean value.

Suji
