hi experts,
i am going to integration OM with PA. PA is already existing and working fine at the moment. OM i am implementing and new and setting up the integration. Payroll is also implemented some times back.
can some one let me know the impact on Payroll by having this integration.
what are the risk factors and what are the solutions for the same.
thanks in advance.
regards
chandra
Hi,
There can be following consequences:
1. Once OM integration with PA is integrated there can be retroactive changes in PA if PA and OM data are not fully cosistent. It is possible to manage via overwriting IT0003 that triggers tretro-calculation.
2. As it was mentioned, impact on payroll posting. If OM data will flow to PA and if it is not cosnistent with existing PA data you can have inconsistecies in payroll posting.
Cheers

according to ur query posted payroll already implemented. is payroll posting to FI lso done. or simply payroll was processed.
if you integrate Pa and OM then it will have impact on payroll particularly as cost centre will come into picture.
in Pa also we can assign cost centre but for posting to FI A011 relationship is required.this cost centre we can overwrite through IT1018 or 27 but A011 is required

Hi,
OM can provide defaults to PA on info type 0001, 0007, 0008, but these values can be overriden on the PA side. The biggest integration factor with payroll is the costing. Cost center distrubutions can be set up on the OM side that can affect where employee payroll amounts are posted in the controlling module.
thanks.
