Connect BO client to BW or ERP

Hi Gurus,

We are configuring a BO-Edge demo environment in a custumer. To make it easier we want to install only the client. However, we would like to connect to a BW or ERP system. Is there any way to connect without the CMS (the server part)? What do we need to do?

then only the single client would be able to connect.

you need the client tools, SAP Integration Kit on the client and the ABAP Transports on the SAP server
