How to manage transaction QS27 or QS37 into an LSMW

Hi dear colleagues.

For data upload, I tried to automate MIC and inspection method replacement into QM task list, so QS27 and QM37. But when (for example) QS27 is run, the user must select the different task list on which a MIC must be replaced. This is what I don't know how to do on LSMW : how to configure my LSMW in order to wait for user selection ?

Thanks in advance.

Olivier.

Without knowing your process in detail, I would try to avoid "configuring LSMW to wait on user selection". This sounds to me like you use Batch Input Recording. Can't you use direct input, BAPI (e.g. BUS1191) or IDoc?

I come back to my topic later :

In fact, QS27 erases limits on existing task list. So I did'nt use it, and of course, no LSMW. I ran a manual procedure to update each task list by copy/past screen by screen.

    Regards.

    Hi,

Without knowing the volume of the changes you want to do, maybe you should consider CWBQM as a better solution (not to be used with LSMW) for mass changes.

Also the moment you will change Characteristic you will have to re-update limits (unless you have them already defined in the MIC).

Maybe if you explain better your case and the reasons you are thinking to use QS27 with an LSMW we could assist with a better alternative.
