    Hi,

    You mean workitems not workflows.

WF-BATCH is the user used for processing background tasks. Also check the container content using the technical log to see whether the initiator is the WF-BATCH user.

    Hi Rob,

thanks for your reply, just one thing if workitem goes to WF-BATCH that means that WF-BATCH is a standard back ground workflow user with all auth right, but it seems to be going to some remote user id. also the method is trying to open a po in edit mode using fm ME_DISPLAY_PURCAHSE_DOCUMENT and edit is passed as X and enjoy transaction is set.

I think if the PO is in edit mode by some other user and WF-BATCH is also trying to open the PO in edit mode, hence it went to some batch user .

    thanks,

    bk

    • Hi,

We don't know how your situation is modeled in the workflow, we suggested to use the workflow log to see what the content is of workflow containers, then you know which data is passed to the workflow step and you can then decide if this behaviour is correct or if you want to change it.

      Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

    Hi

Can you share with us the task you are using and the workflow log ?

Also please a screen shot of the container element WF_INITIATOR.

As a note I try not to use WF_initiator as an agent, the main reason being that if for a reason or another, your workflow admin has to restart the workflow then it goes to him as WF_INITIATOR. I then tend to use the user who created the document.

    Cheers

    Hi,

There might be chance you put wf-batch as a workflow administrators, so if workflow is in errors, its going to wf-batch .

    Thanks
