adapter_plain service settings

Hi,

We have a user logged on to XI client 100 and he is trying to test the "adapter_plain" service. He tries tcode: sicf >default_host >SAP >xi >adapter_plain--> right click test service --> and he gets logon screen trying to connect to cleint 000 instead of 100. The logon prompt him "A username and password are being requested by http://misap-pid01.usasap.ngkusa.com:50000. The site says: "SAP NetWeaver Application Server [PID/000]".

However, the url page shows as client 100 --> http://misap-pid01.usasap.ngkusa.com:50000/sap/xi/adapter_plain?sap-client=100

The question is, where can I maintain the settings of adapter_plain for the correct client logon?

Why is the log on trying to connect to 000 and the url page shows 100? How can I fix this issue?
