Hi Gurus,

I first created material with item category group with 0001 and strategy group 20.

When I am creating sales order, the message is coming

GL Account is missing and it doesnt allow me to save sales order as well.

Hi Rakesh

If you have created a MMR with item category group 0001 and strategy group 20 then while creating sales order just check what is the item category that has come in the sales order , But as system is asking for G/L account then go to item data->account assignment tab -> click on settlement rule ->Assign G/L account and then save the sales order

Item category TAK is coming and Requirement type KE is determined.

Wt should I put in MRP Type in MMR. I have put ND. Is it correct ?

Only message is coming - GL Account is missing.

Which GL Account should I assign ?????

Hi Rakesh

As the item category is TAK which is for make to order so maintain MRP type as PD and also maintain schedule margin key. in MMR data

But as far as G/L account is concerned you have to assign a G/L account in the sales order at item data->account assignment tab -> click on settlement rule ->Assign G/L account and then save the sales order. But for this you need to create a separate G/L account , so you should consult your FI consultant regarding this G/L account assignment

I am grateful to your values answer.

I try to assign existing GL Account ie 894030 ie Cost of Goods sold ( Make To Order) But still it does not allow me to save sales order.

Dear Rakesh Kumar,

If you check the Account determination analysis from Sales Order. It shows the anaysis as "No G/L account has been determined for conditoin tye KOFK". Its cost condition type .

Goto VKOA, maintain the record in respective combination against Cond type:KOFK .(either you can assign new G/L account or can take help from your FI con).

r you can copy KOFI condition type for already created records, replace with KOFK condition type.

Still, regarding G/L account maintanance suggest you to confirm with FI.

Dear Reazuddin,

After doing settings in VKOA with cond type KOFK, I am able to save my sales order.

But after saving there is not determined assembly order no.

When I go to VA02, Schedule line for item - procurement tab

Here I could not see assembly order no.

I believe there is some settings required either with MM or PP.

When I assign sales order no in MB1C then warning message is coming, although I cud able to save it.

Message is coming : MRP settings is missing.

Kindly help me in this regard.

I suppose there is a new thread is related to this thread , so dont close that thread and continue your replies till your query gets solved. so that you can get more inputs

As you are getting that the MRP settings are missing then check the MRP parameters of your plant. But kindly consult with your MM consultants to maintain the MRP parameters

Dear Guurus,

When I go to VA02, Schedule line for item - procurement tab

Here I could not see assembly order no. generated after saving my sales order.

Becauz assembly order no. is nt generating, I could not do goods receipt for order in MB31 with movement type 101.

Assembly order no is nt generating, so I go to MB1C and put sales order no. then warning message is coming :

The Material MTO-1 is a missing part in plant Z222.

System response : The MRP controller Rakesh responsible will be notified via a mail message.

Why is assembly order no. not generating?? and why this message is coming in MB1C???

Kindly help me in this regard.

Hi Rakesh

First of all check what is the strategy group maintained in MMR ? If you have not maintained for MTO then maintain strategy group 20

Secondly . Check wheather you have maintained MRP plant parameters for your plant Z222. I suppose there is a problem in MRP plant parameters and that is the reason you are facing this problem. so kindly maintain the MRP plant parameters for your plant Z222.

Hi Rajesh

As you have maintained plant parameters for your plant Z222 and strategy group 20 , so now you create the sales order and save that sales order and while doing MB1C check wheather you are facing any warning message " The Material MTO-1 is a missing part in plant Z222. " again or not. If you are not getting this message then your problem should be solved

As you have maintained plant parameters for your plant Z222 and as you are getting only warning message then you can continue and reserve the stock.Then there should not be any problem
