Error in Goods Movement, Enter Date of Production, CO13. Cancellation of Prod Ord.

Hello Gurus,

We have encountered a scenario where we are getting an error as "Enter Date of Production" while canceling a confirmation using T-Code "CO13".

I have gone through some blogs where it says to refer a note "KBA 1880374 - PP-SFC : SLED".

After having a look at the respective note, we found that setting to OMJ5 has to be changed and the check for Movement Type "262" is to be removed.

Now, while performing the same test case on DEV server, we are able to cancel the confirmation using CO13 and check for Movement Type "262" is yet active. But it is posting an error on PRD server with same configuration and test case.

Can anyone share an idea about this behavior of the system?

    Hello Yashwant,

Yes.. We have setting in SPRO for Expiration date per Movement type (OMJ5) and in your case for movement type 262, it is already active so during the cancellation of confirmation it will ask for date of manufacturing.

Apart from the above setting, Total shelf life/ Min Rem Shelf life also consider calculating the date of manufacturing.

In your production system and Dev system check the material master Plant Data/Stor. 1 view and check if you maintain the Total shelf life/ Min Rem Shelf life for material.

As per my understanding DEV no Total shelf life/ Min Rem Shelf life and for PRD you have Total shelf life/ Min Rem Shelf life maintained.

    Please check and confirm.
