LOV in Crystal reports based on bex variables

Hi,

we are running some Crystal Reports via EP using OpenDoc URL's. We have XI 3.1 and integration KIT. We have SSO working.

The Crystals are based on Bex queries using bex variables.

The bex queries are transported between Dev-Quality-Production via ordinary BW transport mechanism.

The CRystals are saved to BOE and transported correspondingly between BOE Dev-Quality-Production using LCM.

Currently we are facing problems with prompts for the bex variables when running the crystals in Production. The LOV's seems to be static.

Is it a prerequisite for the LOV's to be up to date that we save the Crystals to BW and transport them in BW?

Are there anything we have missed to make this work correctly?

Hi,

you should publish the reports to your BusinessObjects system from the BW side and not save it directly to the BOE system.
