How could I get the Select Symbol for a Flow in PowerDesigner

I'm programming in PowerDesigner BPM model (extension file). We are reusing a lot of flows in more than one diagram. In the dependency tab of a flow I have the Diagram dependency but I can't see the diagrams which are linked to a short cut of this flow. For this I have to right click on the flow and use the function 'Find diagram'.

I only see in the flow dependency the diagrams which are linked to the flow but not the diagrams of the short cut

I want to have this window directly in the dependencies tab as a calculated collection.

Thanks for help,

Inken

Hi Inken,

here is your calculated collection. Target Type of your collection should be set to BusinessProcessDiagram.

HTH,

Ondrej

  Dim sym, shortcut, symShortcut

  For each sym in obj.Symbols
    coll.Add sym.Parent
    For each shortcut in obj.Shortcuts
      for each symShortcut in shortcut.Symbols
        coll.Add symShortcut.Parent
      next
    Next
  Next

  %collection% = true

Have you considered using a Dependency Matrix?
