Portal Logon page - New Branding

Hello,

I work on EP 7.01 SP3 and the logon page was changed since the previous versions.

How to personalize this new logon page ?

Does the method is still the same ?

Hi Denis,

I dont think it is any different from the steps mentioned in the Wiki. You can use that Wiki for changing your Logon Page. For more information on a similar situation have a look at the following links. They will give you a clear idea.

But how can I configure a logon screen as the "MEMBER Logon" on the welcome page of http://sdn.sap.com ?

Hi Denis,

What do you mean by "How do I configure"? Could you elaborate your requirement.

If you want to change the UI on your Logon Page, then you have to customise the "Logon" Par file by understanding the SAP Standard Component structure.

In order to avoid a specific development in the "logon" PAR. I imagine that it is possible to connect to SAP Portal in anonymous and set up an iview with logon screen (user/password) like the sdn.sap.com hompage.

So do you know how make this ?

Hi Denis,

Yes it is possible to connect to SAP Portal in Anonymous as in SDN and for this you need to customise the Logon.PAR file in NWDS as mentioned earlier. There are many threads related to this on SDN. Just do a search and I am sure you will find many threads. I have got some saved in my favourites. Some of those are:

We did some customisation as well. But, in order to change the SAP standard completely, you first need to undersand the Logon.PAR file and the way it works. I have used the above links for our portal customisation. You might find them useful as well. All the best.
