subcontracting in poultry

Dear all

Please suggest solution for following scenario in poultry

My client send chicks to vendor on subcontracting with chicks they provide feed and medicines also after some time say 30 days they received hens or say finished product. My problem is that during this period some chicks are expired and medicine provide to vendor is not fixed it depend on situation. Client wants to load this cost to final finished product

How to map this scenario in sap 6.0 pls help

Hi

The bom FG( BOM header material ) for this sceneario conisits of

Chicks( Material code)

Expired Chicks ( another material code)

Medicines ( another material code)

Create Subcontracting order for FG material BOM will explode.

Goods issue to Subcontratcing vendor i.e Chicks( Material code) & Medicines ( another material code) using MB1B using 541 mov type.

Goods reciept is done against the sub contracting PO

Enter negative qty Expired Chicks ( another material code)

As the qty of medcine are not fixed you can issue that using MB1B

You can use subesquent adjustment facility MB04
