Bex variables not getting refreshed in webi i.e

Current week

I have one issue , my webi report is created on bex and while refreshing the webi one prompt for current calender week is there, that updates dynamically every monday. Issue is it is not getting refreshed on monday, as every monday i reset the values to the current week, any workaround for this?

Hi Koen,

I compared my 2 bex queries

The query which is passing current calender week to webi is customer exit

And the query which is not passing the value for current calender week is sap exit

Can you please share any workaround or next steps i can apply? Thal would be helpful

hi, try to use the customer exit, if it is not okay, write one yourselves, there are plenty examples on the internet, but when questions, please, let me know

I guess it is an userexit kind of bex variable, please check your code. if it is not, then you should use a SAP exit if possible and otherwise you will need to uxerexit yourself.

Thanks for the reply i will check and get back..

I have some other webi that is based on bex as well, the bex variable used in that is optional for current week and getting current week value dynamically.

But on the other hand the report on which ibam working has dynamic prompt for bex which is not getting refreshed.

Can it be a reason optional vd dynamic prompt?

what I tried to explain was Indeed dynamic prompting = Sap or Customer exit
