My Client has given below mentioned requirement,if any one knows please help me out this scenario.
Our client implemented SAP for OTC functions about 9 years ago. They created the necessary GL accounts to support OTC functions, including open managed accounts. This SAP system was interfaced to the financial system of record, PeopleSoft. However, since SAP was not the system of record, the client allowed balances to build up and no clearing was performed as items were cleared in PeopleSoft. Now, we are implementing FTM, PTP on top of the existing SAP OTC environment. Therefore, we need to convert the official PeopleSoft balances to SAP on top of these accounts. Ultimately, we need our open SAP balances to equal the closing PeopleSoft balances. If you have experience or advice on how to clear the 9 years of postings and set the balances to match PeopleSoft closing balances, please let me know. It is greatly appreciated.
