I have been trying to get our Solution Manager system to retrieve information from 5 different SLD's.
I have used transaction LCRSERVADDR to setup a list of servers. I have added the user id's and passwords into SLDAPICUST and put an X into Multiple SLD Servers in Expert settings.
Everytime I run the LANDSCAPE_FETCH it only looks at the primary server in SLDAPICUST.
Could anybody tell me what I am missing?
Cheers,
Russell Burrow.
Hi Russell
Solution Manager relies on the Central SLD concept - that is usually a SLD local to the Solution Managers J2EE
containing all systems in the landscape - this is where the LANDSCAPE FETCH will retrieve data from
If you want to pull in data from a number of SLDs I would sync them with the Central SLD using one of the SLD sync options
1) Automatic forwarding of all data (as of certain Netweaver versions)
2) Forwarding of data supplier information
3) Import/Export
I am not aware of any way in which you can call multiple SLDs at the same time - like the data supplier connection the client connection SLDAPICUST is specific - indicated by the primary checkbox - you could however try to do one at a time and change the checkbox to pull in all the data - perhaps however automatic forwarding of data suppliers to a Central SLD on Solution Manager is a better option - that way you will get updates without having to changing the primary checkbox
Best wishes
Stuart
