How to change the domain of the cookie SAPWP_active (WebDynpro) in SAP EP

Hi,

we are using web dynpro for java. The system is EP 7 SP18.

Now we have the problem that the cookie SAPWP_active is sent to the client if we open the web dynpro application in our portal. This cookie generate some problems in our SRM system and BW system. Now we have to change the domain (to host domain) of the cookie SAPWP_active, but we don´t know where. The other cookies (MYSAPSSO2, PortalAlias) are sent with the right domain (host domain).

Hi Markus,

The domain cannot be changed. It will be the domain of the portal where the cookie is set. What you can do is to relax the domain by using parameter: ume.logon.security.relax_domain_level

Hi Markus,

Did you find a solution to your problem? we are also having similar problem for SRM Portal integration with an external loadbalancer. The SAPWP_active has a different domain name which is to be set as the *.targetdomain.com.

Can you please share how you resolved this?
