Hi Experts,

A Merchandise category once created and assigned to Sites and also using which i have already Articles be changed later ?

Hi Tanvi,

Yes...you can change the Merchandise Categories of Article from one to another.

Check the link below which says what is Reclassification all about and How to do it

The Following Tcodes might be useful to you in doing the same.

WG21 - Create Merchandise Categories

WG22 - Change Merchandise Categories

WG23 - Delete Merchandise Categories

WG27 - Change Assignment

WG28 - Delete Assignment

WG29 - Display Assignment

WGCL - Classification system Retail

NOTE : Make sure whether you want to assign the characteristics profile(if involved) or Merchandise category directly to the article ,when there's a generic article involved in any of these MCs.

I don, think you can delete the merchandise category once article is created.
