Hi there,
i have this error in Data Services XI 3.1 when i try to import the metadata of a webservice.
Does anybody can solve this problem? I can't find a solution for it...
Thanks
Frederik
Hi,
i installed the new version of DS and the problem didn't come again. So everything is solved.
Thanks anyway
Best regards
Frederik

what is the OS locale (Regional Settings) on the machine where Designer is installed ?
--> English (US) on server and client pc
you can get the complete error message from the Adapter error log,
try importing function using Adapter Datastore
--> didn't work.. I got an error message again
Metadata import failed:
Error message. Unable to import operation 'searchTBL_Kunden'. Error:searchTBL_Kunden. (BODI= 1112010)
before doing that, from Management console, enable trace for the Web Service adapter
you can enable trace from Adapter Configuration
restart the adapter
--> done
once you get error in Desginer, check the adapter trace and error log from the Management console and post the error message from that, may be that can help isolate the problem

Hope this can help. Anyway we will install the newest Version of XI 3.2, because at the moment our version is XI 3.1 (12.1.0.0) Maybe this caused the error...

why is the error message displayed as ?????
--> Don't ask me, i didn't program the software... I have absolutly no idea why the designer shows it with ?????
is designer displaying all error message as ????
--> That's the only error message i ever had so i can't answer the question...
is this a public WSDL ?
--> not really for everyone. It's a WSDL from our internal system...
I will have to look at the WSDL to see whats causing the problem. can you shared the WSDL url ?
--> That's not possible because you will not have access to our systems... But i know that the WSDL works
because i tested it on another system where i can use it... So it's defenetly a problem from the designer...
Thanks anyway!
