Hello All,

My client has 4 operations

OP1

OP2

OP3

OP4

for each operation he has 4 work centers, here he wants to select the workcenters dynamically,

Example:

op1: wc1/wc2/wc3/wc4.....he wants to select manually for all operations

please suggest me how to create routings for this scenario.

Venkat,

You can create the routing with the most probably used workcenter for the material.

1. Your workcenters should be defined with relevant formula's in the Capacity and scheduling tabs and capacity header you need to define workcenter relavant for Finite scheduling,

2. Routing assigned with the workcenters and operation timings and also a control key which is activated with Schedule and determine capacity requirements.

3. In scheduling parameters OPU3, you need to activate the check box for Scheduling and Generate Capacity requirements and automatic scheduling check box active.

With the above settings if you are creating an order, capacity requirements are generated for the operations, execute transaction CM24 to manually split and dispatch the operations to different workcenters.

Here I have a query client is selecting 2 or 3 machines at a time and he wants to see the capacity planning and levelling,

if I change it at confirmation stage...how can I do capacity planning and levelling

Dear Venkat,

1) if u have same capacity machine 2 or 3 then we need to deine in CR01

2) in CR01, in capctties tab we have option capacity header data option click this

3) Now in field No. of indiv.cap give the req machines say 4

4) then in routing tick the option splliting

5) then system will consider & distribute the operation equally with 4 machines

Dear Venkat,

1) Create Routing in Normal Process only

2) when u confirm the order in CO11N , then change the work center ( is the work cneter changes for performed operation)

3) For CO11N, You need to required settings in OPK0
