New Calculation Input Control -Other than Version and Time

Hi There,

Question about SAP Analytics Cloud.

Using the Forecast functionality I can create New Calculation Input Controls with formulas of time Version and Time. Is there any other way I can create calculation input control with formulas with a Generic type of dimension?

Hi John,

The main idea is to use Restricted Measures for defining which Version, Datasource and Time need to be assigned dynamically on all reports and input forms. The idea was to have 3 calculation Input Controls for each period and have a central place such as Version to control all reports.

The standard "Forecast" functionality of Cross Calculation Dimension doesn't help as of now. I tried to use Calculated Dimension, but it also quite limited as well.

I will create an Improvement request.
