F4 button missing

Hi All,

We have downloaded business package for Tax and revenue management.Most of the fields in the view having F4 functionality does not show button sign infact its showing like a input field next to the field, although if you click on input field(which should be F4 button) it shows the values in the drop down to select.

Please help

Hi,

Yes, its an ABAP Web dynpro Application. We have applied EHP4 for ECC 6.0.

Perhaps you can post a screen shot and we can better provide an opinion if the rendering looks incorrect or just designed to be that way.

No you can't unfortunetely post images directly into these forums. You can upload the file to any of a number of free photo sharing websites (I personally use Flickr) and then post a link here in the forum.

Try notes 1260842 and 1101214.

If this is not possible, try different themes (e.g. add URL parameter "WDTHEMEROOT=SAP_STANDARD" )

Are you sure these business packages are definitely Web Dynpro ABAP? Many of the older business packages were created before WDA was available. You said that you downloaded the business packages right? Generally WDA applications aren't installed via separate downloads, but instead come in the ERP Core via Enhancement Packages. Are you sure this isn't how the applications are designed to work?

Hi,

Its actually a standard application so I wont be able to change UI elements. I need to create a Z report and copy the standard applications in there.

any Idea about the packages that need to applied to correct this.

hi,

I also faced similar issue with EHP 4.

I guess some patch levels you need to apply. Please approach your basis team for the same.

As a temporary solution, try to increase the width of those UI elements so that you can be able to the dropdown icons and F4 help icons clearly.
