Dear Friends,

Iam having a process chain lik start-- Local chain 1 - local chain 2--- and so on . all are connected by always. so If one process fails in local chain1 then local chain 2 moves on.

i want to repeat that failed process in local chain1 but i know that if it is successful, then local chain 2 restarts again.. I donot want to happen. I remember it will be solved by a patch level or some setting..

We are currently at Sp17. Please help to solve the pbm

Dear Siddhu,

we are facing the same issue inside of process chains since we have updated last week from SAP_BW patchlevel 19 to SAPKW70022.

To perform the update we have changed also the following from PL 18 to 20:

SAP_ABA 700 0020 SAPKA70020

SAP_BASIS 700 0020 SAPKB70020.

The repeat or retry of a failed process is not starting the next connected local chain but the following processes are running again. This doesn't happen with PL 19, so make sure that you are not upgrading to PL 22.

(We are running MAX DB Version 7.7.06.17)

Any help will be appreciated,

Regards,

Angela
