UAT -User acceptance test Scripts

When we test any particular document with the user and if it is ok immediately we have to take the signature on the document, which is signed off and can be forwarded to the immediate boss. There are some steps to be followed when we go for user acceptance testing.

Hi ,

UAT is user acceptance test , carried out by end user from the business .

It includes business process in test script where each and every step is mentioned with person from business responsible in executing the step,

it includes SAP t code to execute the step,

Responsible stream like P2P , O2C etc

Name of the person executing the step,

Necessary Input data for particular step,

Expected results,

actual results,

status of the step like, ok , not tested, error , minor issue,

Error description,

All these are contained in detail in excell sheet, where end user follow each step to execute and record the results.

It is carried before Go live and UAT has to pass successfully for go live

Dear,

UAT means that User acceptance test....Means consultants will be training the users and users will perform test on Quality server, once they perform that test, they have to accept that test ,which will be the proof that each and every functionality is working fine as per business requirements...

Test scripts generally consists pf all business scenarios which need to be maappped by SAP...

Generallu UAT will be based on Test scripts.

UAT - User Acceptance test

During the testing phase based on the test script provided by the consultants user will perform the testing in the Quality system to make sure everything is working fine.

Test script should contain step by step process of the particular business scenario in layman term like for example

Create PO

1) Goto ME21n tcode

2) Enter vendor no in vendor field

3) Enter Purch org, Company code, Purch gr

4) Enter material

5) Enter plant

6) Enter Qty & Price

7) Click check button
