Problem hiding Tabs in Tabstrip of My Trips and Expenses WD ABAP iView

Dear Gurus,

I am trying to hide a couple of tabs in the "My Trips and Expenses" WebDynpro Abap iView, specifically the "Credit Card Imports", "My Travel Requests", and "All My Travel Plans" tabs.

I am accesing the iView by going to the "Content Administrator" selecting the ROLE that is granted to all users and previewing the "My Trips and Expenses" iView. (This process is described in SAP Note 1234273).

I then CTRL + Right Mouse Click and choose the option "Settings for Current Configuration". I select the tabs that I want hidden, change the visiblity to "NO" and check the "Final" box, Save and Close.

I can see a message that states: "Administrator personalization FITV_POWL_TRAVELLER 00 saved successfully" and when I navigate to the iview I can see that the tabs have been hidden.

However, when other users log in the tabs are still there. It looks like the changes have only taken effect for my user ID only.

Is there something that I need to do differently to make the tabs hidden for everyone?

I should be able to hide tabs in the tabstrip.

I know its not an authority issue because i have SAP ALL and SAP NEW profiles in the Backend ECC system and I am a SUPER-Administrator in the Portal.

Thank you very much for the Note. That is exactly what we were looking for. We chose to implement second option where we assigned the unwanted tabs to a role that will not be assigned to any users. This way in the future if we decide we want to use those tabs all we have to do is unassign them from that role.

Hello Saurav,

I know this thread is already been answered and closed, I have exactly similar requirement and the note is what I was looking for but my problem is the query or tabs that has to be remoded/hide does not exist in the development system where we do all the developments , they only exist in the testing sytem which is ot modifiable.

SO how to remove the tabs in the which are not in the DEV and n QA.
