SAP Tables for Stock value of a material on particular day

Hi all ,

We are building a inventory report where we need value of stock of particular material as on a particular date for a plant as on the date as given by the user in the selection parameters . Can any body know the tables in which it is stored .

or do we need to a build some logic and take values from several tables.

Please let me know .

Probably, you can explain in what way, MB5B will not suffice your above requirement.

Do I need to see what the logic the standard report is using .

There is standard report available in SAP to fetch stock on particular date. T-code MB5B. Explore it.
