Hi friends,

I got a customer return of item ABC with quantity 1. after post goods issue. "1" apprear under "Return" in MMBE, the same time, line item in MB51 with 651 and 1.

Then I need go MIGO transfer posting use move type 457 to transfer this "1" from return to QI.

My question is here : why there are two line show 457, one is "1" (item1) and the other line is "-1"(item2)? does item1 line show GR to QI and the other line offsets line 651? why use item 2?

Your advice will be deeply appreciated.

Linda

Linda,

Where do you see the two Line Items (i.e through which transaction)....

Rather than posting the rerurn goods in to returns and then Transfer posting to QI, you can directly post the returns goods to Quality...

The setting for the above option is as follows:

Go to MM02 tcode and type your material (ABC) and then go to Quality Management tab and then click the Inspection Setup button and then you will see a pop up window. In the Pop up window under the Detailed Information on Inspection Type , make a Tick in the Post to Insp. Stock check box. This will make sure that once you make the Returns Delivery then it will be automatically posted to Quality Inspection.

Hi SAP2020,

Thank you for your response.

"Where do you see the two Line Items (i.e through which transaction)....'

I saw these two lines throught T-code MB51

Go to MM02 tcode and type your material (ABC) and then go to Quality Management tab and then click the Inspection Setup button and then you will see a pop up window. In the Pop up window under the Detailed Information on Inspection Type , make a Tick in the Post to Insp. Stock check box. This will make sure that once you make the Returns Delivery then it will be automatically posted to Quality Inspection.

These could have been a wonderful solution. However, I didn't find the tab of "Quality Managment". I think this because we haven't active the Quality Management moduel.

Thanks,

Linda
